Member & VIP Terms

Retail Blackbook operates a curated furniture marketplace featuring products from participating manufacturers and vendors.

Product selection, availability, pricing and participation can change. Membership does not guarantee that any particular manufacturer, product, catalog or item will remain available.

Creating a regular Blackbook account is free. No credit card is required simply to create a Free membership.

Free members may ultimately access Blackbook Member Pricing and purchase regular Blackbook products according to the marketplace functionality available in their account.

Some features described in these terms may not yet be available to all members. Retail Blackbook is actively building the marketplace experience and will expand functionality over time.

Blackbook VIP is an annual paid membership. The current promotional/founding rate is $97/year (regularly $197/year).

VIP may include: participating vendor catalogs, virtual showroom resources, VIP Exclusives, Request to Add to the Blackbook, My Projects, and expanded access to participating vendor merchandise and resources.

Available features and resources can evolve over time as the marketplace grows and vendor participation changes.

VIP renews automatically each year until canceled. If renewal is canceled, access continues through the end of the paid membership period.

Members may cancel future renewal at any time through their account. Cancellation stops the next renewal only — already-paid access remains active through the paid-through date.

The founding rate of $97/year remains available while the subscription remains continuously active. If a member cancels and later rejoins, they pay the then-current public price.

When a paid VIP membership ends, the account automatically returns to Free membership without losing the account, history, or records.

Blackbook VIP annual membership fees are generally non-refundable once charged. Canceling VIP stops future renewals and access continues through the end of the current paid membership period. Retail Blackbook may, in its discretion, approve an exception when appropriate, and nothing in this policy limits any refund right required by applicable law.

VIP Exclusives may include Closeouts, Special Buys, Discontinued Merchandise, and Limited-Time Opportunities.

Availability is limited and may end without notice. Retail Blackbook does not guarantee exact quantities or continued availability of any VIP Exclusive item.

VIP-exclusive merchandise is intended to be final sale except for verified damage or defect claims, subject to applicable law.

Retail Blackbook may display a Compare To Price, a Blackbook Member Price, a savings amount, and a savings percentage for products listed in the marketplace.

Compare To pricing reflects legitimate comparison information entered for the product. Pricing and availability may change prior to a completed purchase.

Retail Blackbook does not guarantee that any particular price, savings amount, or savings percentage will remain available.

Furniture can be in stock, backordered, in production, discontinued, of limited availability, or otherwise subject to manufacturer availability.

An order is not necessarily guaranteed merely because an item appeared online. Retail Blackbook will communicate availability status as part of the purchase process.

Shipping and delivery vary by product, manufacturer, destination, delivery method, and carrier. Applicable shipping and delivery costs are disclosed as part of the purchase process.

Estimated delivery dates and lead times are planning estimates only and are not guarantees. Manufacturer production schedules, inventory, freight transit, weather, appointments, and other circumstances may change them.

Furniture orders are generally difficult to cancel once accepted by a manufacturer. Cancellation of an individual item may be possible only when the manufacturer permits it.

If a manufacturer does not allow cancellation, Retail Blackbook may be unable to cancel the item. Retail Blackbook will communicate any cancellation options as part of the purchase process.

Most furniture purchases are generally final once accepted by the manufacturer. If a manufacturer permits a discretionary return, it may be subject to manufacturer approval, original packaging, return freight, restocking charges, pickup charges, handling charges, and other applicable costs.

Original shipping and delivery charges are generally nonrefundable when legally permissible.

VIP Closeouts, Special Buys, and Discontinued items are final sale except for verified damage or defect claims, subject to applicable law.

Customers should inspect merchandise promptly upon delivery. Damage or defects should be reported as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours after delivery.

Customers must retain original cartons, packaging, labels, and packing materials until the claim is resolved. Claims may require photographs of the product, damage, packaging, labels, and delivery condition.

Nothing in these terms overrides mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

VIP members may ultimately request review of participating-vendor items that are not currently in the Blackbook. A request is not a guaranteed quote, a guarantee the product will be added, or a purchase commitment.

Retail Blackbook may review availability, pricing, shipping and delivery, vendor requirements, and product information, and decide whether to add the item. If added to the regular Blackbook, it may become available to other members too.

When these features are available: Free members may maintain Saved Items. VIP members may organize products using My Projects.

Retail Blackbook may remove discontinued or unavailable products from the marketplace and related saved or project areas. If VIP expires, project information may be retained but VIP functionality may become locked until renewal.

Retail Blackbook is not the manufacturer of third-party furniture. Manufacturer warranties, specifications, production information, and policies may apply.

Vendor participation and product availability may change. Retail Blackbook acts as a marketplace and does not control manufacturer production, inventory, or policies.

Members are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and safeguarding login credentials. Retail Blackbook may restrict or revoke access where appropriate, including for abuse, misuse, or violation of these terms, without affecting a member's right to receive products already ordered and paid for.

Transactional communications related to membership, orders, payments, delivery, support, and claims may be sent electronically. Marketing communications remain subject to the member's consent and preferences.

Retail Blackbook may reasonably update features, participating vendors, membership benefits, catalog resources, product assortment, and platform functionality. Such updates do not eliminate already-paid benefits during their paid term, subject to applicable law.
